  Twice per year, the card brands matter pricing modifications with their Interchange Rates. All of these costs are available for your review at their specific sites. As a result of Covid-19, the typical drop pricing changes in 2020, were delayed. Now, spring is just nearby, meaning it is once again time for pricing improvements from the Card Associations. Because prior modifications (translated as "increases") were delayed, these improvements are bigger than is typical. These upward modifications can have an effect on any and all merchants acknowledging plastic as an application or payment. The rate increases will vary by card type and how your transactions are prepared whether it be in individual, on line or card-not-present. This, needless to say, couldn't come at a worse time. We've seen therefore several organizations which have had to close their gates, often completely or, at minimum, have seen revenues significantly decreased as a result of various lock downs
